Reviews and Ratings
My stay at this hotel was truly delightful. The rooms were amazing with a four-poster bed, although it could have been a little cooler. They are quaint and old-style, perfect for a Cotswold experience. The service was exceptional, especially considering we were traveling with a young baby. The location is perfect uphill with a beautiful view, ideal for exploring the Gloucester area and the Cotswolds. The dining experience was personalized, and the facilities were great overall.
I stayed in a room on the top floor, beautifully decorated with a four poster bed and tea making facilities. The service was extremely friendly and helpful, especially at the Bistro. The location is absolutely beautiful, perfect for walks and visiting other places by car. The dining experience was in a unique and friendly place, with a range of tasty choices. The facilities were up to par with what I expected.
I stayed in the Dovecot room at the very top, which was very large and attractively styled. The room was well-equipped, clean, and provided a great view over the rooftops. The service was outstanding, especially given our late arrival with a young baby, as the staff went out of their way to provide a cot. The location in the charming village was beautiful, making it a great base for exploring Gloucester and the Cotswolds. The facilities were well-maintained, but some areas seemed neglected. Overall, a comfortable stay with a few minor issues.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The room had a charming four-poster bed but was quite dusty, especially around the lights. The service was helpful, especially accommodating our needs with a baby. The location was excellent with friendly staff. The dining experience had some room for improvement. The facilities were satisfactory, but there were some neglected aspects.
I loved staying at this hotel! The room was cozy and clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for exploring Painswick, right in the heart of the village. The dining experience was really good, although the rooms could use more shelving for toiletries. The facilities were top-notch, and the price was reasonable for all that was offered.
